Where to Add Your Permit or Registration Number

Jurny does not store or sync permit/registration numbers. Hosts must add their permit number directly inside each OTA. This guide shows you exactly where to enter it on each platform.

How to Add Your Permit Number in Each OTA

Add Permit Number in Airbnb

Airbnb has a dedicated field for license or registration numbers.

Steps:

  1. Log into your Airbnb account.

  2. Click Listings.

  3. Select the listing you want to edit.

  4. Go to Policies & rules (or Settings, depending on your interface).

  5. Find the section called Laws and regulations or Registration.

  6. Enter your permit/registration number.

  7. Click Save.

Tip: Always use the official field provided by Airbnb. Do not place your permit number only in the listing description unless your local regulations specifically require it there.

Add Permit Number in Vrbo

Vrbo provides a section for registration numbers under local laws.

Steps:

  1. Log into your Vrbo Owner Dashboard.

  2. Select the property you want to update.

  3. Go to Local laws or Regulatory Compliance.

  4. Click Add or update registration number.

  5. Enter your permit/license number.

  6. Save your changes.

Note: Section names may vary slightly depending on your region.

Add Permit Number in Booking.com

Booking.com requires license numbers to be added inside the Extranet.

Steps:

  1. Log into the Booking.com Extranet.

  2. Click on Property.

  3. Go to General info.

  4. Look for a field labeled Licence number, Registration number, or similar.

  5. Enter your permit number.

  6. Click Save.

Caution: In some cities, Booking.com may request documentation in addition to your permit number. Make sure all required documents are uploaded if prompted.

Important Reminders

  • Permit numbers must be added individually in each OTA.

  • Adding the number in Jurny will not publish it anywhere.

  • Regulations vary by city and country.
