Step 1: Get Started by Setting Up Your Profile

Before you manage listings or accept bookings, the first thing you should do after logging in to Jurny is set up your profile. This ensures your account is secure, personalized, and fully connected to your business.

Accessing Your Profile Settings

Once you’ve logged into your Jurny account:

  1. Go to the top right corner of your screen.

  2. Click on your profile icon (usually your initials or photo).

  3. From the dropdown, click on “Profile.”

You’ll be taken to a profile setup screen with three important tabs you’ll need to complete.


1. Personal Information Tab

This tab allows you to personalize your account.

Here’s what to fill out:

  • Upload your photo (optional, but helpful if working with teams)

  • First and Last Name

  • Account Currency – Select the main currency you'll use to manage payments and reporting (e.g., USD, EUR, CAD)

Tip: Choose the correct currency from the start—it affects how all financial data is shown throughout the system.


2. Company Account Tab

This is where you set up your business details:

  • Company Name

  • Company Address

  • VAT/Tax Identification Number (if applicable)

    This is typically required for users based in Canada or Europe.

  • Your Role in the Company
    Choose from options like:

    • Owner

    • Property Manager

    • Accountant

    • Other

Note: These details are important for invoicing, legal compliance, and billing.


3. Security Information Tab

This is one of the most important steps for protecting your account.

Make sure to set up:

  • Passkey – A secure way to log in without typing a password

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – Adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a code from your mobile device or authenticator app

 Caution: We strongly recommend setting up 2FA right away. It helps prevent unauthorized access to your account.
