How to set up the Booking Engine?

Having your website can reflect more trust and reliability in your guests. If you want to brand your website and build long relationships with your customers, you are in the right direction.


Why should I use the Booking Engine?

That's a great question! One of the biggest perks of using our Booking Engine is that you don't need to worry about the fees or commissions that OTAs will take from each reservation. Also, having your website is your property's unique digital identity. A custom website establishes a direct connection with your guests.

Getting Started

To start, access the Website - Booking Engine section that appears under Settings (or click here).


Click on the Add New Website green button that appears on the top-right corner of your screen.

  1. Add Internal Name:
     
    • Personalized Identification: Give your website an internal name for easy identification within your dashboard. This is your platform; let it reflect your identity.
  2. Select Buildings:
    • Curate Your Showcase: Choose the buildings you want to feature.
Domains:
 
  • Add new Domain: Enable the domain to elevate your brand further. Create a domain following the next structure "yourchoice.jurny.com". After ~5 minutes, the domain will go live automatically.

Settings

   1. Your brand

    • Branding Matters: In the Settings menu, define the Browser Page Title. Keep it simple, this reflects your property's identity. This is the name that appears on the browser tab, ensuring your brand stays top of mind.
  1. Photo Appearance:
    • Visual Impact: A photo speaks a thousand words. Choose an image that resonates with your property's ambiance and ethos. Don't forget to add your Navigation top bar logo.
  2. Property Name Source:
    • Consistent Branding: Decide whether the property name source is internal or sourced from listing information. Consistency is key to effective branding. This information can be found under each listing in the listing information tab.
  3. Theme, Fonts, and Sizes:
    • Brand Aesthetics: Customize the visual elements to align with your property's branding. Themes, fonts, and sizes contribute to the overall aesthetics, ensuring a cohesive online presence. As there's no preview, you can see live updates on the domain you chose after your onboarding representative enables it.
  4. Custom HTML:
    • Tailored Design: If you have specific requirements, feel free to use the Custom HTML field to attach codes to track Google Analytics or any other platforms.
    • Contacts:
      • Accessibility: Provide a contact email and support phone number. Accessibility builds trust, reassuring potential guests that support is readily available.

Homepage

    • Title and description - Craft a Narrative: Define the title and description. The title appears above the text, setting the tone, while the description provides additional context. Craft a narrative that entices visitors to explore further.
    • Home page big picture: Don't forget about the great photos to highlight your properties!

Promo Codes

    • Direct Booking Advantage: Promo codes offer a powerful tool for incentivizing direct bookings. Capitalize on this feature for enhanced promotional strategies that drive reservations directly through your website.

I have a website already

Fantastic! If you already have a website, you can connect it to your Jurny account.

    • Extend Reach: Connect your external websites seamlessly through WordPress or direct API integration. Reach out to your onboarding representative for assistance. We can do the connection for you if you don't have an available developer, however, this process incurs a fee incurs a fee, so consider reaching out to the salesperson who signed you up for more details.
